Etape du Tour

Alpine Cadence : Supported rides for cyclists in the Alps

Etape du Tour -  8th July 2018

The Etape du Tour is a unique event, an opportunity to ride and race the exact course ridden by the Tour pros just a few days later. The 2018 Etape du Tour will duplicate stage 10 of the Tour de France, Annecy to Grand Bornand. The 169km course incorporates tough climbs which will accumulate to over 4000m of climbing. A big challenge and a very memorable weekend await you!

We will be offering a package of accommodation and support for this event. The chalet base we are using for this event is very well positioned, 11kms from the start of the event and just 18km from the finish. Here are the details:

Friday July 6th

Collection of riders from Geneva Airport. Transfer to our accommodation near Annecy (transfer time 45 mins). Plenty of time to make up bikes in a relaxed and supportive environment. Earlier arrivals may wish to head to the welcome village in Annecy on this afternoon to collect their race numbers.

Saturday July 7th

A chance today to head to the welcome village to collect race numbers and to go for a gentle ride if required. Big emphasis today on taking it easy and relaxing prior to tomorrow's exploits.
